Local Church holds Prayer Service for Fallen Parishioners of
West Freeway Church of Christ
Houston, Texas………..In the wake of the horrible tragedy at West Freeway Church near Fort Worth, Texas, The Community of Faith Church in Houston holds prayer service in honor of the parishioners who lost their lives protecting their church and its members.
Bishop James Dixon, pastor of The Community of Faith Church says ‘When tragedy struck West Freeway Church of Christ, parishioners were serving and receiving Communion which memorializes the sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe the lives lost became a sacrifice for their Christian Witness. Our community will honor the sacrifice on Sunday with prayer and the observance of the First Communion of 2020. We will remain in prayer for all parishioners of West Freeway Church of Christ.”
The prayer service will feature, Bishop James Dixon, guest clergy from across the city, some of Houston’s renowned gospel singers, and community leaders. All will unite in prayer and remembrance for the bravery and courage of the fallen parishioners of West Freeway Church of Christ.
